Free PAYG phone when you top up £30

It’s a sign of the times when you can pick up a pay as you go phone for nowt. In these tightest of times, Carphone Warehouse have made the brave decision to offer a Nokia 1650 phone to customers buying £30 of credit.

It’s not a flashy phone – you get FM radio, and a long battery life, but not much more. But really, when a phone costs the same as a decent meal out, you can’t expect much.
