Death to accidentally wiping iPods, with the TuneBlocker
I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve plugged in my iPod to a new computer and absent mindedly wiped the whole library, thanks to accidentally syncing it. You’d think it would be a lesson learned, but apparently I don’t have the mental capacity for that. So, the TuneBlocker sounds like a dream come true for me.
It’s like your average USB iPod cable, but integrates a little switch, allowing you to choose if you want to sync it or simply charge it. That means it doesn’t matter which computer you plug it into, you won’t lose your tunes. Of course, in my case, I’d be guaranteed to forget to switch it to charge rather than sync, but for the smarter of you it’s a must have.

…Orrrr you could just click the manage manually option…instead of wasting all that money
Fair point, but as I pointed out, it seems I never ever learn my lesson.
