Sony Ericsson's C901 leaks onto the World Wide Web
With Mobile World Congress only around the corner (only 19 days to go and counting), it’s only right we’re treated to a sneak preview of what’s to come, you know, to whet the palette, build up intrigue and all that. The C901 from Sony Ericsson is hopefully the first of many mobile leakages we get to see, to satisfy our impatient and eager sides, before it all goes official in just over two weeks time.
I’m sure it hasn’t gone unnoticed the C901 looks mysteriously like the C902 and the recently launched C510 (what is with Sony Ericsson and this particular design of phone?). Think of the C901 as a less glamorous, James Bond deficient, younger sibling of the C902, featuring a 5 megapixel camera with the usual Cyber-shot suspects – autofocus, smile shutter and Xenon flash.
The rest of its specs are a bit of a mystery. All we know is it’ll be hitting the shelves around April in black, silver and strangely, peach. So expect more on this in about two and a half week’s time.
Sony Ericsson says it’s got big plans for Mobile World Congress – I for one, cannot wait to see what else they have in store.
