LG launches its latest 3G netbook

There’s something slightly Fisher Price about LG’s latest laptop, although despite the choice of lime green or pink trim, it is apparently aimed at those of legal drinking age. Specs-wise it’s not too shabby, featuring integrated 3G connectivity befitting a laptop made my a company with a mobile heritage, as well as an 160GB hard drive.

There’s also a feature called Smart-On, which gives users access to their favourite programmes within a few seconds of start up, without the need to boot up the OS (which sounds much like Sony’s XCrossMediaBar). It also has LG’s SmartLink allows you to transfer files and software from other computers via a USB lead.

It runs Window’s XP, with an Intel Atom 1.6GHz processor, 1GB or RAM and a 1.3 megapixel webcam. There’s no word yet on pricing, but it’s expected to hit Europe in March.
