Samsung Acne Acme i8910 makes an appearance
There’s nothing cartoon-esque about the Samsung Acme, but it is however a little to easy to mistake ‘Acme’ for ‘Acne’, which would never make an attractive name for any handset – even one that’s of the polka dot variety. As you can see from the phone’s good looks, it takes its design from the Omnia and when it’s released will probably prove to be the 8 megapixel improvement.
It’s a touchscreen handset, so will inevitably be compared to the iPhone and touted as a ‘killer’, but for now, let’s just focus on its specs. It’s packing all the high end gubbins you’d expect from a high end phone, such as GPS, HDMI, WiFi, an 8 megapixel camera and that all important 3.5mm jack. It also provides 8 or 16GB of storage depending on the model you opt for and will record in HD.
No word on price tags, release dates or anything else, but with MWC just around the corner, anything’s possible.
