Lamp Climbing Bike Lock

Someone once told me there a few things that you never really own, sunglasses, gloves, and bikes. As any of you who cycle will know, no matter how good your bike lock is, bike thieves will inevitably find someway to ride off with your bike. But what if your bike lock could climb up a post and raise it off the street?

That’s the idea behind the German company, Conrad’s new bike lock. The contraption basically uses motorized skateboard wheels to scale up a lamp post. All you need to do is attach your bike to the lock, lock it to the post and it’ll zoom up out of arm’s reach. Perfect until bike thieves start carrying around ladders with them.
