You can take photos of people on the streets, looking at their Apple gadgets, but you can’t take pictures of people in Apple stores looking at Apple gadgets.

Artist-cum-blogger Kyle McDonald got his art project, computer and camera confiscated by the CIA for taking secret picture of them gazing open mouthed at macbooks – photos he chronicled online in PeopleStaringAtComputers.
It’s the secretly taking photos of people in public places that is the problem, but what’s most interesting of course is the enraptured cult-like attention that people give to MacBooks. See a couple of our favourites below.
