Jony Ive Redesigns Things blog. Apple guru works his magic on The Beatles

jiR beatles.jpgSo what do you make of Jony Ive’s subtle gradient driven tweaks to the icons on Apple’s iOS 7? Well some very clever people have taken the concepts behind those updates and applied them to a whole load of other things to deliver the superb, and the very funny Jony Ive designs Tumblr blog.

So the Apple guru gets to work on some rock star logos, cigarette packets and more which are all now a riot of gradiented colour.

I specially love The Beatles Abbey Road getting a technicolor explosion and some of the gadgets like the Nokia 3310. Check it out here.

  • Interesting, but those who dares to reproach him never designed any mobile operating system. Wonder why. He is the greatest industrial design, give him 3 months, he'll be the same in the software design. As the iOS developer I loved ios7 in most of its aspects. And I really loved the technics Apple brought us at WWDC
