Apple iWatch will come in different sizes and have ten tracking sensors
Apple’s iWatch is rumoured to be launched in October and this week WSJ has revealed some pretty interesting details about the highly-anticipated new wearable.
According to WSJ’s source, the Apple iWatch will be available in a range of different models and sizes. This is music to our ears here at shinyshiny because wearables are so personal (they’re effectively like an extra limb… well, kind of) and we’ve found that even all of our female writers who are interested in similar things can have radically different opinions when it comes to what they want from a smart wearable device. Fingers crossed there’ll be some slimmer options (smartwatches to date are often far too big for my wrist) and possibly even an option to have a round or square face.
But that’s not all, the same source has revealed that the iWatch will be packing ten different sensors, many of which will be focused on health and fitness tracking, which will mean it’ll be one of the most capable and comprehensive devices out there.
We’ll keep you posted if we hear any more rumours about the iWatch – we’re expecting more and more to hit the web as we get closer to the launch!
