Virgin Trains are making it so much easier to find a lost teddy with the Teddy Tracker
Everyone has had that gut-wrenching feeling when you’ve left your phone or shopping on the train. While we can’t help you with finding these items ever again, Virgin Trains are making it possible to find your lost teddies.
The Virgin Trains teddy tracker, launched today, can be personalised and tied around a teddy’s paw, so he can be identified and, when handed over to staff, their safe journey home can be easily arranged.
Richard Branson came up with the idea for a teddy tracker when he was contacted by the mother of seven-year-old Ted McCaffery, who had lost his teddy Rufus.
The Virgin owner said: ‘As anyone who has young children will know, losing a favourite toy can be heart-breaking, and we know it can often ruin a family day out. We were so touched by the message from Ted’s mother that our staff have been working hard to come up with a solution. And that’s when we had the idea of creating a tracker that you can tie onto your teddy.”
The Virgin Trains teddy tracker will be available UK-wide on all routes from today. Now we just need one so we can get our phones sent back to us too!
