Could the Cogito Classic be the smartwatch for you?
Have you been thinking about getting a smartwatch, but thinking you’re quite content with an old-fashioned analogue watch?
The Cogito Classic combines the traditional analogue watch, with digital notifications, which you can control, so you won’t be constantly bombarded with email subscription notifications (unless you want to be).
Created by Paris designer Xavier Houy, the Cogito Classic works alongside an iOS and Android app, where you can manage which notifications you feel are the most important, whether that be a certain email, phone call or text, so you won’t be constantly checking your phone.
Available in a wide range of colours, including Clockwork Orange (get it?), Deep Purple and White Alpine, Cogito claims the watch is water resistant up to 100m, and has the battery life of over a year.
Like other smartwatches, the Cogito Classic only works via Bluetooth, so you’ll need your phone with you if you want your watch to work, which may annoy runners who want to use the watch instead of a phone.
You can get your hands on the Cogito Classic for £129.99 from the Dixons website.
