Watch the iPhone 6’s biggest design flaw get fixed with an angle grinder
The iPhone is known for its sleek design, and when it was revealed that the iPhone 6 would have a protruding camera a lot of people were understandably confused by this. I imagine a minority of people were upset because this means the phone can never really lie on a flat surface. Well there is a fix, and it involves and angle grinder.
The video shows a person decked out in a full body suit and mask working away at the grinder, smoothing out the iPhone to the tune of Jony Ive and his boasts that the iPhone 6 is “seamlessly integrating… a gorgeous display… into an aluminium body”. Well it clearly isn’t seamless Mr Ive, or else this video wouldn’t have been made.
As you can see the video is filled with the misty air of a voided warranty. Mmmm…
Maybe, just maybe, grinding away your iPhone’s camera lens is taking it a bit far, but its good to know that you have options when it comes to this sort of thing. You probably shouldn’t try it yourself though.
