O2 launching tech-enabled haunted house for Halloween
O2 is jumping on the Halloween bandwagon this month, in what seems a very cool way. The service provider is opening a haunted house entirely created and controlled by everyday smart tech, in the spookiest area of London – Jack the Ripper’s old stomping ground.
According to O2, visitors will be ‘shaking in their boots’, as they’re led through five individual rooms, each powered by a range of connected technology, controlled by phones and tablets.
O2 customers will be able to register for free tickets to the haunted house, through the O2 Priority app, from tomorrow, while non O2 customers can win tickets by sharing a screaming selfie or video on Twitter, using the hashtag #O2POSSESSED.
If you don’t manage to get any tickets, however, there’s still the opportunity to watch all the action on O2’s Youtube channel, and even win prizes if you manage to snap Princelet Street’s resident ghost. We’re not entirely sure what that means, but it will probably become clearer on the day!
POSSESSED will open to the public on Princelet Street, Shoreditch, on Wednesday 29th October between 3pm and 10pm.
