CES 2015: LG unveils the Flex 2
The jury is still pretty much out on curved smartphones. Sure they look pretty, but they do seem an idea in search of a killer use. This hasn’t stopped LG, which has today unveiled its second flexible screen smartphone – the LG Flex 2 – at CES 2015.
We haven’t seen it yet but the word is that it is much more striking than the predecessor and that LG might have a hit on its hands. It takes some of the best features of LG’s widely praised G3 and tucks them into a decent looking phone. Specs-wise it packs a 2ghz Snapdragon 810 processor, 5.5″ display which can run at “full HD” and a “self-healing” back cover. The rear camera is a healthy 13MP, and the front camera is 2.1MP.
The phone will be hitting the UK in February – we’ll let you know when we get more details.
