CES 2015: Polaroid announces dashcams and mobile printer
Polaroid has announced, today at CES 2015″, that it’s rolling out a new line of dashcams, as well as a mobile printer, so you can print anywhere right from your phone.
Polaroid’s dashcams promise recording in full 1080p, with sensors that record automatically if a collision is detected. Using GPS, the camera will also record your speed and location, meaning there’ll always be proof it wasn’t your fault, when dealing with insurance (unless the crash was your fault).
On top of that, the dashcams also include lane detection and speed notifications, helping you stay within the speed limit and the lane.
Polaroid also took CES as its chance to announce the Zip, a mobile printer that pairs to your Android or iOS phone via an app, allowing you to print any photos (in 2×3, of course) you take immediately, wherever you are, in under a minute. Basically, it’s an updated Polaroid camera.
The dashcam and printer won’t be available until the Spring, but the dashcam range will cost $59.99-$199.99, while the Zip printer will be priced at $129.99.
