Sony drops the Xperia E4 mid range smartphone – five inch display and serious battery life
Sony has taken the wraps off a new mid range smartphone. The Xperia E4 boasts a 5” qHD display, apparently has enough battery life (2,300mAh) to get the owner through two days (or a week if they use its Ultra Stamina Mode) and like a lot of Sony phones majors on entertainment and audio facilities.
On the downside, the camera at five mega pixels is a little limited, while there’s a two MP snapper for selfies. Photo features include Auto scene recognition, image enhancing features and camera apps.
The Xperia E4 features a 1.3 GHz Quad-core processor, which ought to be enough to keep most tasks runnign smoothly, and comes with 1GB of RAM.
Design-wise the E4 is reasonably thin and features an aluminum power button and a and distinctive stainless steel camera ring. It is available in classic black and white.
It will launch from the middle of February including a Dual SIM variant.
