Hands on with the Doro Liberto 820 Mini, designed for senior users #MWC15
Just released in the UK, the Doro Liberto 820 Mini is a smaller version of the existing Liberto 820. As with most Doro phones, it’s designed to be incredibly simple to use for people who aren’t too familiar with smartphones or want something easy. We gave it a try at Mobile World Congress:
The Doro Liberto 820 Mini has a quad-core processor, 8GB main camera, a selfie cam, 4GB of storage space, 1GB of RAM and a 1500 mAh battery. The specs aren’t what’s important on this one, though: it’s all about the experience, designed by Doro to be ideal for relatives who might need some help setting up their phone (there’s a setup wizard) or changing settings on it (it has remote assist and a lot of built-in help functions and step-by-step guides). It also has proper, pressable physical buttons:
The Liberto 820 Mini is available in silver, white and red SIM-free from Tesco or on contract and pay-as-you-go from Tesco Mobile.
