Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are on sale today in the UK
After weeks of hype, the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are on sale today in the UK.
You can order either model SIM free from the Samsung store now, from £599.99 for the 32GB Galaxy S6 in white or black (the gold’s already sold out) or £660.00 for 64GB. The Edge (pictured) only comes in 64GB, is also sold out in gold right now, and will set you back £760. The 32GB S6 is available ASAP, while the others will ship on 24 April.
If you’d rather not pay quite so much upfront and want to get your hands on one right now, you can skip straight to Carphone Warehouse today and pick one up in store. They’re even promising that if you find a cheaper deal on the S6, they’ll match it and pay for your first month. They have the 32 GB S6 for £40 per month on Vodafone, or pay £38.49 with an upfront cost of £59.99 from EE, or £39 a month and £69.99 upfront from O2.
As you’d expect, the slightly more advanced S6 Edge costs a little more, but again Vodafone is the cheapest, with a £44 a month contract with 1000 minutes and a 1GB data allowance costing £99.99 upfront. See all the tariffs available via their website. And if you’d rather order online than get dressed and go shopping, they expect to ship on 13 April.
