Legendary Italian brand DeLonghi has teamed up with Nescafe to make a compact coffee machine aimed at people who want to make coffee-shop style drinks at home but without having to grind beans, foam milk, or do much at all apart from pop in a pod, select the right volume, and switch it on. You can make everything from espresso to chai tea, and it comes in a range of colours, including indigo, red, and matt black. The fact that it looks like it could star in a WALL-E sequel is incidental, but only adds to its appeal.
